What is a Certified H.E.R.S. Rater?

A certified H.E.R.S Rater (Home Energy Rating System) has been accredited by RESNET.

RESNET, Residential Energy Services Network, is a non-profit organization that developed the standard energy efficiency rating system.  RESNET is recognized by:

• US Mortgage Industry - Energy Efficient Mortgages (EEM's) - Energy Improvement Mortgages (EIM's)
• Federal Government for tax incentives
• Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR program and the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America Program.
